To get in the holiday spirit, we picked up some Christmas decor from our friends at Carver Junk Company to help create a Gonyea Christmas. We decorated the mantle, built-ins, Christmas tree, and dining table of our Foxwood model in Chanhassen, MN. With decorative yet elegant elements, and small touches of glistening red, green, and gold, we created a cohesive look that’s perfect for the holidays.

A Place for Cozy Christmas Cheer

The farmhouse-inspired Christmas items from Carver Junk Company were incorporated throughout the great room. With each piece feeling rustic and natural, we decided to stick with a simple design so it wouldn’t feel cluttered.

This cozy fireplace created the perfect canvas for decorating. Carver Junk Company’s stocking holders were a great addition, making it easy to hang stockings without putting nails in the mantle. We also love the Santa countdown clock, which the little ones in your familly would definitely love to watch!

The mini trees, ornaments, and block houses are perfect for filling in any empty spot, or creating a great

A Place to Gather With Friends and Family

We placed the Christmas tree in between the dinette and great room, so you can enjoy it in either room, and not let it get in the way. We decorated the whole tree with ornaments from Carver Junk Company, including handmade MN ornaments and a wood garland.

For the dinette table, we used a grain sack runner, playing to the farmhouse elements of the kitchen. The simple centerpiece included mini trees in varying heights, along with a candle on each side.

The ornaments from Carver Junk Company were some of our favorite elements of A Gonyea Christmas. You’ll feel like a true Minnesotan with sayings like “uffda” or “dontcha know” on your tree.
