Through quality sliding doors right off the main level, this durable, custom-built cedar deck is essential to any home, making transitions from indoor to outdoor entertaining simple. The spacious design allows versatility for outdoor furniture and grilling. The upcoming holiday gave us an excuse to adorn the deck with red, white, and blue. The addition of Adirondack chairs, comfy pillows, and attractive plants illustrated how flexible this space could be throughout the changing holidays and seasons.

The Bar’s Not Far

Gonyea Homes and Remodeling 4th of July Bar
The walk-out lower level is equipped with a full bar and plenty of space for family and friends. This custom-built bar fuses the contemporary farmhouse design of the kitchen (see Part 1), with subtle one-of-a-kind details, like the custom-built “X” shelving unit above the sink, and the granite countertops. Much like the rest of the home, this space is flexible and ready for your unique touch. All we had to do was add a few Americana decorations, and this bar was ready for a patriotic celebration.
