Fall Farmhouse Inspiration: The Kitchen

The Fall Farmhouse Inspiration series is a collection of photos from our October CJC@HOME event with Carver Junk Company. For a whole weekend, Carver Junk Company moved their store into one of our homes! The home, and everything in it, was for sale, open to tour, and full of farmhouse style fall home decor. With Thanksgiving right around the corner, we thought it would be the perfect time to give you a little tour of the home, especially if you missed out on the event. Each week we’ll showcase one room. We started with the great room in our first post you can find here. This week, we’re cooking something up in the kitchen!

The Perfect Blank Canvas

Custom-built white cabinets, gorgeous beveled tile backsplash, and a navy island provide a fantastic blank canvas for this chef-inspired kitchen. With the shiplap hood and thought-out fall decor, this home is transformed into a warm contemporary farmhouse. We can just smell a pumpkin pie baking in the oven!

Wood Details

This “farmers market” wood tray is a cool and simple piece to incorporate into your kitchen. It gives the warmth and rustic feel of fall, while providing depth to a bright kitchen. Other wood pieces, and added pumpkin orange details bring pops of color throughout.

Interesting Focal Points

Don’t forget the island! You can decorate every space in your home by adding simple, yet unique and cohesive pieces. The centerpiece pillars add varying height, making it an interesting focal point for the eye.

Country-Inspired Tableware

Picking a few colors, like yellow and oranges, and introducing them to neutral accents, create a true farmhouse-inspired display.

Look for simple tableware that have a handmade, country feel to tie all the kitchen decor together.
